Optimal health: can you achieve it?

  While discussion around optimal health is happening quite often, but people still need clarification about it. While WHO provides a clear definition of optimal health and well-being including not just physical, but also mental and social well-being, it is not without diseases. If you talk about optimal health considering complete physical, mental and social well-being, it doesn’t seem realistic all the time. It can be really hard for some people to actually achieve it. Optimal health is quite personal. It may depend on various factors, such as where a person has been health-wise and where they are today. Of course, optimal health for an athlete is going to have a different meaning than a senior person of age 60-something with diabetes or other illnesses.
